During the Asian session on Thursday, the European currency lost ground against its major counterparts.
The euro declined to 3-week lows of 0.8099 against the pound and 1.3130 against the greenback.
Against the yen and the franc, the euro weakened to as low as 114.49 and 1.2091, respectively.
The euro that closed yesterday's deals at 1.5814 against the kiwi reached a 2-week low of 1.5775.
The euro fell to more than 2-week lows of 1.2525 against the aussie and 1.2956 against the loonie with 1.245 and 1.29, respectively seen as the next support levels.
