Signet Jewelers Ltd. (SIG) announced Tuesday morning that its same store sales for the nine weeks ended December 29, 2012 were up 3.3%.
The company now expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $2.05 to $2.10 and between $4.28 and $4.33 for the full year 2013.
Signet Jewelers gapped up sharply Tuesday and climbed in early trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished up by 4.87 at $58.70, with volume at a 7-month high. The stock rose past the upper end of a 5-week range and set a new high for the year.
