McCormick & Co. (MKC) reported fourth quarter net income of $1.11 per share Thursday morning, compared to $0.98 per share a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.14. The company expects to report full year 2013 EPS of $3.15 to $3.23, compared to the consensus estimate of $3.36.
McCormick gapped open sharply lower Thursday and fell in early trade, before settling into a range. The stock finished down by 4.22 at $62.37 on the highest volume of the year. McCormick dropped to over a 2-month low and fell below its 50-day moving average.
