Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) reported fourth quarter EPS of $1.95 after the close Tuesday, up from $1.81 a year ago. Revenue increased 17.2% to $699.2 million. The consensus estimates were for EPS of $1.96 and revenues of $698.86 million.
Chipotle Mexican Grill rose steadily for the majority of the morning Wednesday and closed up by 17.45 at $322.46 on above average volume. The stock rose above a week and a half long range and set a 4-month high.
