ViaSat Inc. (VSAT) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.04 after the close Wednesday, down from $0.26 in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of a loss of $0.33.
ViaSat spiked to the upside at the open Thursday and continued to rise until around midday. The stock finished with a gain of 9.55 at $49.29 on the highest volume of the year. ViaSat surged to a new high for the year.
