The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.08. The company expects to report first quarter EPS of $1.30 to $1.34 and between $5.57 and $5.67 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $1.32 and $5.44.
O'Reilly Automotive gapped open sharply higher Thursday, but traded in a narrow range throughout the session. Shares finished up by 7.45 at $100.04, with volume at over a 3-month high. The stock leaped to over a 7-month high.
