Diodes Incorporated (DIOD) Wednesday said its fourth-quarter net income attributable to common stockholders was $4.1 million or $0.09 per share, compared to $3.1 million or $0.07 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Adjusted profit for the quarter was $6.2 million or $0.13 per share, up from $4.0 million or $0.09 per share in the prior year quarter.
On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.06 per share for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Net sales for the current fourth quarter rose 14.0% to $163.29 million from $143.31 million in the comparable quarter last year, while seven analysts expected revenues of $163.59 million for the period.
Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company forecast revenues in the range of $157 million to $170 million. Analysts currently expect revenues of $161.64 million for the quarter.
