Alice In Chains have revealed the title of their new album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, which hits in May. It is set to include the single "Hollow."
The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is the follow-up to the band's 2009 comeback album Black Gives Way To Blue, their first in 14 years, and the first following the death of original singer Layne Staley in 2002.
Guitarist Jerry Cantrell also revealed that the new LP will not feature any guest appearances. Their previous record featured a cameo by Elton John.
"He's the guy who inspired me to start playing music, so to have him play on one of our records - especially such a meaningful record, where we're restarting our musical careers and saying goodbye and honoring our buddy - it's a tremendous thing," remarked Cantrell of the collab.
