Ricky Gervais has confirmed that he will revive his classic character David Brent, from the original British version of "The Office," for a short comedy sketch for BBC One. The sketch will be part of the BBC's Comic Relief charity effort.
The episode will be titled "The Office Revisited" and will reportedly detail Brent's ongoing efforts to make it in the music business:
"I thought it was time to revisit my most famous comedy creation to find out what he's been up to for the last decade and most importantly what he's up to now," Gervais said in a blog post.
He adds that fans will "finally get to hear the whole of 'The Serpent Who Guards The Gates Of Hell' and an amazingly cringe worthy, self-funded video 'Equality Street.' Horrendous."
