Continental Resources Inc. (CLR) Rose To A 9-Month High On Strong Q4 Results

Continental Resources Inc. (CLR) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $1.04 Thursday morning, up from $0.88 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.87. The company also raised its full year 2013 production growth guidance to a range of 35 to 40 percent from the prior growth forecast of 30 to 35 percent.

Continental Resources gapped up sharply Thursday and climbed in early trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished up by 4.03 at $88.00 on above average volume. The stock broke out of a month and a half long range and set over a 9-month high.
