Struggling consumer electronics retailer Best Buy Co., Inc. (BBY) is expected to report results for the fourth quarter before the market opens. The earnings of the Richfield, Minnesota-based company are expected to decline to $1.54 per share from $2.47 per share last year. Quarterly revenues are anticipated at $16.34 billion. The shares closed Thursday at $16.41. (52-wk H/L $27.95/$11.20)

Magna International Inc. (MGA) is scheduled to report fourth-quarter results. The company is expected to report earnings of $1.14 per share versus $1.46 per share last year. Besides, the company is expected to record revenues of $7.74 billion, an increase from last year's $7.25 billion. The company's shares closed Thursday's session at $53.22. (52-wk H/L $54.48/$36.54)

Exelis, Inc. (XLS) will report its fourth-quarter results. Earnings and revenue for the quarter are expected to be $0.46 per share and $1.35 billion, respectively. In the same quarter a year earlier, the company posted earnings of $0.50 per share on revenues of $1.48 billion. Shares of XLS closed Thursday's trade at $10.32. (52-wk H/L $12.88/$9.01)

Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) is slated to report results for the second quarter. The company is expected to report a loss of $0.04 per share compared to a loss of $0.03 per share last year, on revenues of $7.04 million. The stock closed Thursday at $1.82. (52-wk H/L $2.44/$1.12)

PDL BioPharma, Inc. (PDLI) is scheduled to report fourth-quarter results. The earnings of the company are expected to be $0.32 per share, higher than the prior year's $0.24 per share. Further, revenues are anticipated to grow to $86.08 million from $72.81 million reported a year earlier. The company's shares closed Thursday's session at $7.14. (52-wk H/L $8.43/$6.02)
