McDermott International Inc. (MDR) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.17 after the close Thursday, compared to the loss of $0.04 in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.23.
McDermott International gapped open lower Friday and declined for the bulk of the session. Shares finished down by 2.02 at $10.70 on the highest volume of the year. The stock dropped to a 2-month low and fell below both its 50 and 200-day moving averages.
