Aerosmith and Jimi Hendrix will take part in Record Store Day, as Legacy Recordings will be offering up vinyl exclusives from both acts for this year's celebration of independent record stores.

Aerosmith's first three albums will be made available in exclusive vinyl editions. Aerosmith, Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic will all be packaged as 12" 180-gram audiophile vinyl LPs, each in an individually numbered jacket. These are RSD editions newly re-mastered from the original source tapes.

Hendrix' "Hey Joe," with the B-side "Stone Free," will be released as a 7" 45 RPM vinyl single. These are the original mono mixes created in 1966 for the Jimi Hendrix Experience's first U.K. single. They have not been commercially available since.

This year's Record Store Day is April 20.
