Spectra Energy Partners (SEP) announced after the bell Tuesday that it commenced an underwritten public offering of 4,500,000 of its common units. The stock is now down 1.42 on 17K shares.

Spectra Energy Partners traded in a range throughout Tuesday's session and closed down by 0.15 at $38.82. The stock closed near the lower end of a 3-week range at the highs of the year.
