Advance Auto Parts Inc. (AAP), on Thursday revealed a string of management changes. The company said it appointed George Sherman as President, replacing Jim Durkin who will transition to the role of Senior Vice President.
Sherman who served as an officer in the United States Air Force also served as the Regional Vice President, later serving as the Senior Vice President, at Target.
In addition, Charles Tyson, the company's Senior Vice President of Merchandising has been promoted to Executive Vice President. Tyson joined Advance as Senior Vice President, in 2008.
