Norway's Industrial Production Falls In February

Norwegian industrial production declined again in February despite increases in mining and manufacturing output, Statistics Norway said Monday.

Industrial output fell 1.9 percent in February from a month ago as output of extraction and related services dropped 3.4 percent. Meanwhile, production of mining and quarrying output grew 8.3 percent and manufacturing gained 0.9 percent.

On a yearly basis, industrial production plunged 10.7 percent in February.
