SemiLEDs Corp. (LEDS) reported that its second quarter GAAP net loss attributable to SemiLEDs stockholders was $6.0 million, or a net loss of $0.22 per share, compared to GAAP net loss of $7.1 million, or a net loss of $0.26 per share in the second quarter of fiscal 2012.
On a non-GAAP basis, net loss attributable to SemiLEDs stockholders for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 was $5.4 million, or a net loss of $0.19 per share, compared to non-GAAP net loss of $6.1 million, or a net loss of $0.22 per share, for the second quarter of fiscal 2012.
Revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 was $4.8 million, a 39% decrease compared to $7.9 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2012.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.24 per share on revenues of $5.36 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
