Electric motors company Nidec Corporation (NJ) Tuesday posted a loss for the fourth quarter versus a profit last year.
For the period, the firm reported net loss of 19.09 billion yen compared with a profit of 9.07 billion yen a year earlier. Basic loss per share for the quarter was 141.45 yen versus earnings per share of 66.34 yen for the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue for the period, however, witnessed an increase at 186.06 billion yen from 167.58 billion yen a year ago.
The company further said the year-end dividend was 40 yen per share, while the annual dividend was 85 yen per share.
