HomeAway, Inc. (AWAY) reported first-quarter net income of $5.3 million, or $0.06 per share, compared to $2.4 million, or $0.03 per share, last year. Total revenue increased 24.0% to $79.5 million from $64.1 million prior year. On an FX neutral basis, year-over-year revenue growth was 24.2%. The company said growth in total revenue primarily reflects an increase in new listings, an increase in average revenue per listing as a result of tiered pricing and bundled product offerings and the benefit of ancillary product and service revenue.

On average, 15 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit of $0.13 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items. Analysts expected revenue of $78.64 million for the quarter.

The company expects its second-quarter total revenue to be in the range of $85.0 million to $86.0 million. HomeAway expects full year 2013 total revenue to be in the range of $338.0 million to $341.0 million. Analysts expect the company to report second-quarter revenue of $86.57 million. Analysts expect the company to report fiscal 2013 revenue of $341.33 million.
