Satellite communication company Inmarsat Plc (ISAT.L) Thursday posted revenue of $313.7 million for the first quarter, lower than $354.8 million reported last year, largely reflecting reduced revenue from Inmarsat Global - Other income, including LightSquared.
Inmarsat Global - Other income, including LightSquared, for the quarter was $12.9 million, down from $58.9 million posted a year ago. Revenue from Inmarsat Solutions was $189.5 million, marginally lower than $190.8 million reported for the corresponding period last year. However, Inmarsat Global - MSS revenue was $184.6 million, up from $178 million last year.
