Steven Adler, former Guns N' Roses drummer and founder of Adler, has postponed the band's summer U.S. tour after signing up for rehab.

In a statement, the group's singer Jacob Bunton said that, at the moment, Steven's health is the most important thing:

"We are truly sorry to all of the fans and promoters who were looking forward to seeing us on the road, but right now Steven's health is the most important thing. We hope to make it up to everyone when Steven recovers."

A separate statement said that the stickman had entered the program in order to "continue working on his sobriety." The length of Adler's stay was not revealed. His career with GNR was cut short after a 1996 stroke induced by mixing cocaine and heroin.
