Printing machines maker Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HBGRF.PK), in its preliminary results, posted a 5 increase in its sales for the full year and said it expects net loss to be around 110 million euros. This compares to last year's net loss of 230 million euros.
The growth in volume combined with the savings made by the Focus 2012 efficiency program improved the group's EBIT, excluding special items, to 28 million euros from 3 million euros.
In the fourth quarter, sales rose to 830 million euros from 785 million euros, while EBIT, excluding special items, increased to 60 million euros from 22 million euros last year.
