Lady Antebellum have released their highly anticipated new album, Golden, the follow-up to their platinum selling third studio album, Own the Night.
"We definitely want to value this time in our careers because it's such a treasure that we can still sit in a room and write songs together," Charles Kelley tells CMT of the writing process for the new LP.
"I personally feel so humbled to be still making records that people are excited to hear."
Golden features the chart-topping lead single, "Downtown," as well as the newly anointed second single, "Goodbye Town," which was written backstage during the group's 2012 Own the Night World Tour.
"Josh [Kear] came out to see us on the road because that's where we did so much of the writing for this album," Kelley added. "There's just something about this song that I think people can relate to. It's that time after a breakup when everything about a place reminds you of that person, so all you want to do is just get the hell out of there."
