Frank Zappa's Bandmates Launching New Project

Project Object, a band composed of former Frank Zappa instrumentalists, is on the road performing Zappa classics from all eras.

The group, which includes Ike Willis, Ray White, Ed Mann, Denny Walle and Tom Fowler, began the tour on May 8 at Teaneck, New Jersey's Mexiali, and continues through May 26 at Hard, Austria's Kammgarn venue.

Between the guys in the band, a host of Zappa material is covered, including Tinseltown Rebellion, Bongo Fury, Sheik Yerbouti, Apostrophe, Joe's Garage, Roxy And Elsewhere, One Size Fits All and Baby Snakes.

Major central bank action was the focus this week in economic news. The European Central Bank became the first major central bank to move in response to the rising inflationary pressures in the backdrop of the conflict in the Middle East. In North America, the U.S. inflation and trade data as well as Canada’s central bank decision gained attention. The Chinese trade data was the main news in Asia.
