Miranda Lambert is not pregnant according to the country singer's mother. Beverly Lambert addressed the issue with RadarOnline.com, insisting that her daughter and son-in-law, Blake Shelton, are not preparing for a newborn.
"They are totally not expecting!" Mrs. Lambert told RadarOnline. "And I'm fairly certain that I would be the first person to know."
If the couple were to have a child, it would be the first grandchild for Beverly and her husband, Rick Lambert.
In January, Miranda explained to Redbook that she's in no hurry to start a family: "I have seven rescue dogs . . . Every time I feel the need [to have a baby] I babysit my friends kids, and I'm like, 'I love 'em, but at 5 o'clock, they're waiting by the door when you get off work!'"
