London Stock Exchange Fiscal Year Profit Decreases; Revenue Up 7% - Quick Facts

London Stock Exchange Group PLC (LSE.L) reported profit before tax of 298.9 million pounds for the year ended 31 March 2013, compared to 639.7 million pounds last year. Before acquisition amortisation and non-recurring items, profit before tax was 380.7 million pounds, compared to 400.6 million pounds last year.

Profit attributable to equity holders was 217.0 million pounds or 79.0 pence per share, compared to 522.0 million pounds or 190.9 pence last year. Before acquisition amortisation and non-recurring items, profit to equity holders rose to 284.0 million pounds from 271.3 million pounds prior year.

Adjusted profit per share increased to 103.4 pence from 99.2 pence prior year. Revenue rose to 726.4 million pounds from 679.8 million pounds last year.
