Hong Kong Bankruptcy Petitions Rise In April

Hong Kong's bankruptcy petitions increased by 2.6 percent in April from the previous month, government data showed Thursday.

The number of bankruptcy petitions increased to 815 from 794 in March. During January to April, it totaled 3010.

At the same time, bankruptcy orders surged 35.9 percent month-on-month to 927 in April.
