In her latest turn on the talk show circuit, Eve stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to discuss her hiatus from music and why she took so much time between albums.
"I think my album wasn't what the execs wanted and they just put it on the shelf," she said, referring to her former deal with Interscope.
Eve also discussed launching her own label (From the Rib Music), moving to London, her relationship with DMX, her tendency to date rich men, her former relationship with Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star Stevie J and starting a family.
Eve released Lip Lock, her fourth studio album and first in 11 years, this week. The album features guest appearances from Cobra Starship's Gabe Saporta, Dawn Richard, Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, Chrisette Michele, Juicy J, and Pusha T among others.
