Authorities in New Jersey have arrested a man in connection with his part in a large Pennsylvania-based drug trafficking ring.
New Jersey On-Line reports that Eric Feliz, also known as "DJ Smokeout", "Smily" and "Eddie", is one of 25 suspects who is thought to be a part of a large operation that sent cocaine, heroin and marijuana across six states.
The Teaneck Patch reports that the ring was busted by investigators who used court-approved wiretaps to help identify the men involved in the ring, along with undercover police officers making undercover drug purchases in Pennsylvania.
"The success of dismantling this drug trafficking operation could only have been accomplished with the cooperative combined teamwork of local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies," said Berks County District Attorney John Adams.
Feliz and the other suspected traffickers are facing charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, marijuana and heroin, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activity, corrupt organizations and criminal use of a communication facility.
