A man from St. Louis is being treated in an area hospital due to an explosion that happened in a boarding house from the result of an alleged meth lab.
The St. Louis Dispatch reports that the St. Louis Police are saying that the victim, a 44-year-old man, had severe burns on his face and chest that resulted from the fire in the basement of the boarding house.
Authorities on the scene discovered meth materials in the house, and the victim in the fire was being "evasive" when discussing how he was burned.
The fire did not cause any damage to the building and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for second-degree burns. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of second-degree burns. Police are still investigating the situation.
