A man in Sacramento, Calif., has made more than 100 calls to the police department in just one month, CBS Sacramento is reporting.

His reason for making so many 911 calls is that satellites are controlling his brain.

Jimmy Shao said he keeps a log of every 911 call he makes because he believes that the government is watching him.

"My brain, I can feel it starting," Shao said. "I'm blasted by the signals, every couple of minutes. I yell and scream, 'Stop it, I don't need this,' but they never listen."

Police said that Shao has been arrested for 911 abuse.

"That this person made over 100 calls over a month's time - 60 of them came into Sac PD dispatch - that is alarming," Officer Michele Gigante said.

All 911 calls made to the Sacramento Police Department are answered by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

"We know he's tying up resources that are desperately needed by other citizens in our community," police department spokeswoman Jena Swafford said.

Police said his calls last on average of five to seven minutes, FOX 40 is reporting.

Shao said a psychiatrist told him he had no mental health problems.
