Eva Longoria Earns A Master's Degree

Eva Longoria earned her Master's degree from California State University, Northridge on Wednesday. According to TMZ, Longoria recently finished up her thesis, "Success STEMS From Diversity: The Value of Latinas in STEM Careers." STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

The actress hit Twitter to announce the news and encourage others in their paths to success:

"Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my Master's degree in Chicano Studies," later adding, "You're never too old or too busy to continue your education!"

After the ceremony, Eva celebrated by going out to dinner with her parents.

Longoria completed her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University before beginning her master's program three years ago. Her rep says she found time for her studies while on the set.
