EnergySolutions, Inc. (ES) and affiliates of private equity firm Energy Capital Partners II, LLC on Friday announced the closing of their merger effective May 24.
In connection with the closing of the merger, EnergySolutions has notified the New York Stock Exchange of its intent to withdraw its common stock from listing on the NYSE. In January, EnergySolutions agreed to be acquired by a unit of private equity firm Energy Capital Partners II, LLC for an enterprise value of $1.1 billion.
