Janet Jackson is now a billionaire, joining the ranks of powerful and wealthy women like Madonna and Oprah Winfrey, according to Variety.
Jackson amassed her fortune through a variety of projects, including making a reported $458 million from concert tours, $304 million from acting roles in films like The Nutty Professor and Poetic Justice, $260 million in album sales and $81 million in sponsorships.
The billionaire club also features plenty more entertainment types, including Donald Trump, Steven Spielberg, and J.K. Rowling as members.
Jackson wed fellow billionaire Wissam al Mana, a businessman who made billions investing in the Middle East last year. The couple had been dating since 2010.
According to Us Weekly, they wed in a "quiet, private and beautiful ceremony" last year, while Jackson later shot down reports that they had an "extravagant" bash.
