The U.S. dollar firmed against the Swiss franc and the British pound in the late Asian session on Wednesday.
The greenback hit 6-day highs of 0.9785 against the franc and 1.5013 against the pound, compared to Tuesday's close of 0.9768 and 1.5038, respectively. On the upside, the greenback may find resistance around 0.985 against the franc and 1.49 against the pound.
