U.S. Dollar Slips Against Majors

Reversing direction, the U.S. dollar edged down against other major currencies in early European deals on Wednesday.

The greenback is now trading at 101.64 against the yen, off its early 5-day high of 102.52.

The greenback that advanced to 6-day highs of 0.9789 against the franc and 1.2837 against the euro earlier has retreated and is worth 0.9698 and 1.2885, respectively. Against the pound, the greenback fell to 1.5070 from a recent multi-month high of 1.5008.
