Penns Woods Bancorp Inc. (PWOD), Wednesday said its shareholders approved its pending acquisition of Luzerne Bank at the Annual Meeting.
The shareholders of Luzerne National also approved the acquisition at their Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
The company expects to complete the acquisition on June 1, subject to the other customary closing conditions.
