Michael Kors Holdings (KORS) reported fourth quarter net income of $0.50 per share Wednesday morning, up from $0.22 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.39. The company expects to report first quarter EPS of $0.46 to $0.48 and between $2.43 and $2.47 for the full year 2014. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.47 and $2.44.
Michael Kors climbed in early trade Wednesday, but settled into a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed up by 1.97 at $63.95 on above average volume. Michael Kors closed challenging the highs of the year, trading at over a 3-month high.
