Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (CBRL) reported third quarter EPS of $1.02 Monday morning, 0.81 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.94. The company also increased its full year 2013 EPS forecast to between $4.75 and $4.85, from prior expectations of $4.60 to $4.80. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $4.79.
Cracker Barrel gapped open higher Monday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock finished up by 5.82 at $95.28 on above average volume. Cracker Barrel climbed to a new high for the year.
