JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for the month of May. Traffic increased 9.4 percent on a capacity increase of 9.0 percent. Load factor was 85.1 percent, an increase of 0.3 points from May 2012.
Traffic, measured in Revenue Passenger Miles or RPMs, was 2.99 billion compared to 2.73 billion last year. Capacity, measured in Available Seat Miles or ASMs, was 3.51 billion compared to 3.22 billion last year.
