Warner Brothers has reportedly put their "Dumb and Dumber" sequel on the auction block. The project, dubbed "Dumb and Dumber To" has already had commitments for Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as well as the Farrelly Brothers, who directed the original 1994 hit.
The project has been in the works at the Warner subsidy New Line for year but now it seems the parent corporation will entertain offers from other studios. According to Hollywood Reporter, the story line follows Harry and Lloyd as they hit the road to find Harry's illegitimate daughter, who is in need of a kidney transplant.
Hollywood Reporter also adds that Warner is unlikely to greenlight the project following the box office flop of "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," which netted a loss of 8 million despite rave reviews for Carrey.
