Health Management Associates Inc. (HMA) Thursday announced the addition of managerial and operational support offerings to hospitals located in existing markets but currently unaffiliated with Health Management.
"Today's healthcare environment provides us with increasing opportunities to support hospitals and communities - especially in those where we currently have relationships," said Pete Lawson, Executive Vice President of Development for Health Management Associates.
"We have found that many community hospitals may not be at the point where they are looking for a partner to buy, lease or JV their hospital, but are instead looking for an expert to provide operational and managerial support."
