Adam Sandler has signed on to star in a supernatural comedy called "Hello Ghost."
The film will be directed by Chris Columbus, who also directed "Harry Potter," "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Home Alone."
The film's main focus will be on a man whose failed attempt at suicide allows him to see ghosts. He later rediscovers his love for life and falling for a nurse and realizes that the only way to get rid of the four ghosts is to help each of them accomplish their final wish.
The film is being written by Karen Croner. "Hello Ghost" will be a remake to a 2010 Korean film which was directed by Kim Young-Tak.
