Mario has released behind-the-scenes footage for "Somebody Else," his latest single featuring a spot from Nicki Minaj. In the backstage clip, Mario presents Nicki with a gift before they both take their places in front of the camera.
Minaj sports a black and gold two piece number, joining Mario for a flirty exchange in front of the camera.
That Grape Juice noted that the two don't exactly sparkle in the vid:
"Did anyone else wince a bit during Mario and Minaj's super 'formal' greeting and at other select points of this preview? . . . For, this collaboration (like most) seems more like a mutually beneficial 'transaction' - one which sees Mario benefitting from Minaj's mainstream appeal in his bid to 'comeback.'"
Nicki's collabs with Wale ("Clappers") and Ciara ("I'm Out") are expected shortly.
