The Australian dollar climbed to a 12-day high of 1.1974 against the New Zealand dollar in early deals on Tuesday, up 0.35 percent from Monday's close of 1.1932.
With the 30-day simple moving average level has already broken in the pair, the next likely resistance for the aussie-kiwi pair is seen around the 1.2020 level, its 50-day SMA.
