Every year, the month of July is celebrated as National Ice Cream Month, and the third Sunday of the month - July 21st for this year, is observed as National Ice Cream Day in the United States. A new study conducted by ice cream giant Baskin-Robbins in honor of the National Ice Cream Month suggests that one's favorite ice cream flavor can give an insight into his/her personality.

Chocolate - dramatic, lively, charming, flirtatious, seductive and gullible


Very Berry Strawberry - tolerant, devoted and an introvert


Mint Chocolate Chip - argumentative, frugal and cautious


Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - ambitious, competitive and a visionary


Pralines 'n Cream - loving, supportive and prefer to avoid the spotlight


Jamoca (i.e. coffee) - scrupulous, conscientious and a moral perfectionist


Chocolate Chip - generous, competent and a go getter


Rainbow Sherbet - analytic, decisive and a pessimistic

Baskin-Robbins conducted the study in partnership with Dr. Alan Hirsch, a nationally recognized smell and taste expert and founder of the Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation.
