Slovenia's trade balance in June turned to a surplus from a deficit logged in the same month last year, data released by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Friday.
Trade balance registered a surplus of EUR 33.18 million in June, compared to a deficit of EUR 23.08 million recorded last year. In May, the shortfall was EUR 136.4 million.
Exports dropped 3.0 percent year-on-year in June and imports fell 6.0 percent.
During the January-June period, the country registered a deficit of EUR 331.65 million from a year-ago. Exports witnessed a rise of 1.5 percent, while imports fell 0.6 percent.
