According to a survey of Match.com users, the Rolling Stones are one of the most popular bands played as date night music. Seventhy-eight percent of single men and women polled said that listening to music plays some role in their pre-date prep routine.

Following the survey, Match.com teamed up with Spotify to create a playlist titled "All Amped Up: The Single Best List of Pre-Date Anthems," which Spotify users can check out now.

The Stones made the cut, which was heavy on pop, classic rock and R&B, with their track "Brown Sugar."

The poll highlighted several other date night routines, including that the majority of men (57 percent) preferred classic rock to get ready to, while the majority of women (54 percent) preferred pop music/top 40 hits.

Both men and women agreed that rap, country and heavy metal are sure fire mood killers while on a date.
