Biographer Mark Lewisohn has revealed the first details on his new three-volume Beatles biography titled Beatles: Tune In. The first edition of the series will be titled "All These Years" and will be released via Crown Archetype books on October 29.
There will be a separate U.K. edition of the book released via Little Brown later this year and the author broke down the different versions saying:
"The difference between the editions is words," Lewisohn told The Examiner. "About 380,000 in the UK, about 430,000 in the U.S. (The U.S. edition) will include the endnotes, omitted in the UK for space reasons."
He adds: "The premium edition ('author's cut') hardback, with approximately 2,000 pages, will come out in the UK from Little, Brown on Nov. 13. If Crown decide to take the author's cut edition (in the U.S.), it won't be this year. For the time being at least, it will be available only from the UK," he said.
