Carlos Santana has announced that his current Las Vegas residency, "Greatest Hits Live: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow," has been extended into 2014. The guitar legend has added 15 dates to the run, between Nov. 8 and Feb. 1.
In addition to the new dates at Mandalay Bay's House of Blues, Santana will play a one-off show at Guadalajara, Mexico's Arena VFG on Dec. 14.
After that show, Carlos will be headed to Washington, D.C. where he'll be awarded a Kennedy Center Honor.
"I guess people understand that Santana is not just a Mexican guitar player. I bring a collective-consciousness awareness agenda with me," he said in a statement regarding the award.
The 36th annual ceremony will be televised December 29 on CBS.
